£2million funding secured for DCH Urgent Treatment Centre

"We’ve had the great news that we have secured funding of £2million to create an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) on the DCH site. This is in addition to the UTC at Weymouth, offering our communities another way to access urgent care as well as relieving pressure on our Emergency Department. Creating a UTC on the DCH site has been planned for some time and now discussions are underway on how to staff and run the service."
